JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman alongside Constitutional Justice Arief Hidayat received a medal in commemoration of the 25^th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in the Delegation Room. The medal was hand by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Indonesia Daniyar Sarekenov as a token of gratitude for the Constitutional Court’s continuous support for the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Justice Anwar thanked Kazakhstan for the commemorative medal and its hospitality during an AACC (Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions) event in August. “[The Constitutional Court] would also like to express our gratitude for the support of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan. We attended the event virtually," he said.

He praised the event and hoped that next year he would be able to attend a live event in Kazakhstan. The Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan is the president of the AACC since 2019. In August 2020, the council hold the 4^th AACC Congress virtually.
