JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—A socialization program of the state-owned pension insurance Taspen took place at the Constitutional Court (MK) on Friday (13/3/2020). Civil servants (PNS) and non-civil servants within the Constitutional Court attended the event.

"Thank you for [attending] in this event. Hopefully it will benefit us all, especially information that will be provided by PT Taspen," said Head of the Court’s Human Resources and Organizational Bureau (SDMO) Teguh Wahyudi in his remarks.

Teguh said the event was organized by the Court’s HR Bureau in collaboration with PT Taspen to give information on the Government Regulation No. 70 of 2015 as amended by the Government Regulation No. 66 of 2017 concerning Work Accident Insurance and Death Insurance for Employees. "This will be useful for all of us," he said.

Taspen Director ANS Kosasih explained the benefits of joining a Taspen program. "We are waiting for the Ministry of Finance’s decision regarding the benefits of Taspen for civil servants and state officials. Hopefully there is improvement related to monthly pension payments, adequate old age savings, and so on. We are grateful to continue to be trusted as a manager of pensions for civil servants," he explained.

Kosasih added that, in line with the hopes of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Tjahjo Kumolo, Taspen would not let the benefits decrease. "More importantly, what benefits [state apparatus] ASN and state officials can obtain," he said. In the near future, PT Taspen will launch a special service "Taspen with BTN for ASN Residence" at an affordable price near Jakarta, with easy access to public transportation.

"Insya Allah [God willing], in the future we will serve 4.1 million ASN to the best of our abilities. Hopefully we can provide greater benefits. Believe that the future of ASN will be even better because Taspen along with the Ministry of Finance is designing ways to provide even better benefits for retirees so that their pension is not too far from their current income," Kosasih said.
