JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Head of the Constitutional Court’s (MK) Sub-Department of Human Resource Development Andi Hakim closed the Training and Technical Practice on the Improvement of Application Use Skills for Secretaries and Representatives of Bureaus and Centers in the Registrar’s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court, Friday (28/2/2020).

In his closing remarks, on behalf of the Head of the Human Resources and Organization Teguh Wiryadi, Hakim said that education and technical training of office applications was the first step expected to continue in the future. Speakers from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics were also expected to further strengthen the cooperation of the two state institutions in developing applications and technology.

"The Constitutional Court since its inception has a vision to become a modern and trusted judicial institution. Modern [reflects] the use of technology effectively," Hakim said before participants who have participated in the training for three days (26–28/2/2020).

Hakim hoped that after the training, all materials by speakers could help improve the technical and analytical skills of the employees, help them work more efficiently and add insight to the development of human resources and organization. For three days, Fourida Masruroh from the Training and Development of Information and Communication Technology Center (BPPTIK) of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics delivered an introduction on the application at basic to advanced level. She also explained the importance of the Learning Management System (LMS) for the staff members.

LMS is a system for managing training and education records, the software for distributing programs via the internet with features for online collaboration. In corporate training, LMS is usually used to automate employee registration and recording. The dimensions for the learning management system include self-service students, for example, instructor-led independent registration, workflow training, provision of online learning, management of continuing professional education (CPE), collaborative learning, and resource management training.
