SURAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) received an archival award from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). The award was handed over to Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah in Surakarta, Central Java on Wednesday (26/2/2020). The Court received a score of 89.30 (satisfactory).

This award is part of supervision to assess the performance and raise the motivation for quality improvement. In addition, as an effort to measure the suitability between the application of archival standards among archive creators and the laws and regulations in the field of archive.

The assessment aspect in the field of archive include filing policy of archiving program, management of archives, institution, human resources (HR) of archives, as well as infrastructure and facilities of the archives. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Permenpan RB) No. 30 of 2018 regarding Guidelines for Evaluating Bureaucratic Reform of Government Agencies, archival monitoring is one of the indicators of the National Archive\'s evaluation on bureaucratic reform.

After receiving the award, M. Guntur Hamzah was determined to continue to optimize the archive system at the Constitutional Court. He also thanked the entire Court archival team who had worked hard and managed the archives properly. In addition, Guntur also hoped that by achieving this award, the Constitutional Court would be able make innovations to create better archival management. (Bayu/LA)
