JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Archivists of the Archival Sub-department of the Secretariat General of the People\'s Consultative Assembly (MPR) visited the Constitutional Court (MK) on Wednesday (5/2/2020) as part of the field study on the implementation of the Dynamic Archival Information System (SIKD) in the Constitutional Court.

Head of the Center for Information and Communication Technology Budi Achmad Djohari and Junior Computer Officer Riska Aprian welcomed the archivists and talked about several things that the Court has done as a pilot implementer of SIKD development among state agencies/ministries. Budi explained that the key to the massive use of the SIKD in the Court are the commitment of the leaders in using the SIKD through the Decree of the Secretary General and the leaders\' lead in implementing it.

The SIKD was seen by the Court to have brought ease of work. The SIKD was built to be user-friendly, so that employees were willing to use it. Openness in managing and using the system is required as all data and information must be transparent and valid.

Budi said that the SIKD was first introduced by the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) and then developed for the Registrar\'s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court by the Information and Communication Technology Division. The visit by the MPR archivists was the nineteenth visit by various institutions who wanted to learn the implementation of the SIKD at the Court. Afterwards, Junior Computer Officer Riska Aprian delivered a presentation on the adoption, implementation, and development of the SIKD in the Court. (Sri Pujianti/LA)
