JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) signed a memorandum of understanding with Nuffic Neso on Wednesday (5/2/2020) at the Meeting Room of the Constitutional Court. Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah and Indy Diena Sari of Nuffic Neso signed the MoU as a follow up on the bilateral meeting between Secretary General of the Constitutional Court M. Guntur Hamzah with the Nuffic Neso Program Management & Monitoring team leader and manager Johanna van Nieuwenhuizen and Marieke Nieuwendijk on November 20, 2019 in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Guntur in his speech welcomed the cooperation of Nuffic Neso to develop the capacity of the Constitutional Court\'s human resources. He hoped that employees of the Registrar\'s Office and the Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court who wanted to continue their studies could take advantage of this opportunity, especially with the STUNED and Orange Knowledge Programs.

"Hopefully all employees who meet the requirements to use this program continue their master\'s program in the Netherlands. Nuffic Neso will share the funding with the Constitutional Court. The purpose of this activity is to encourage all employees to study abroad," said Guntur.

Indy said there are four scholarships that could be used: STUNED, Holland Scholarship, Orange Knowledge Program, and Orange Tulip Scholarship. However, she emphasized on STUNED because the participants are funded directly by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it is aimed to develop the competencies and capacities of Indonesian citizens.

This is also emphasized in the MoU, which aims to build and start a scholarship cooperation program between the Constitutional Court and Nuffic Neso to facilitate study and research at quality universities in the Netherlands. The MoU also includes cooperation in the management, implementation, and financing of the MKRI-StuNed Scholarship Program.

Nuffic Neso is a non-profit organization that handles the educational internationalization of the Netherlands and is under the auspices of the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Culture. (Lulu Anjarsari)
