MKRI Partners Up with IIUM Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Constitutional Court (MKRI) delegation led by Chief Constitutional Justice Anwar Usman visited the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) as part of a partnership that dated back to 2019. The partnership will be made into an MoU, which was signed by Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah and Vice Rector of IIUM Noor Faridah Abdul Manaf at the Conference Room of Muhammad Abdul Rauf Building, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday on Friday afternoon (10/1/2020).

The signing, which began at 15:30 local time, started with a speech by Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah. He talked about the achievements of the MKRI nationally and globally. “The MKRI is an outstanding judicial institution in the use of technology,” he said.

Noor Faridah Abdul Manaf stated that the university had waited for the MoU, as would any university. It has heard of the MKRI’s journey as pioneer in modern enforcement of law.

Chief Justice Anwar said that the partnership between the MKRI and IIUM shows the MKRI’s commitment in improving its staff members and exchange knowledge and experience between the two institutions. The MKRI and IIUM can implement various partnership programs such as internship, study exchange, workshop, and exchange of library collections. (NL/LA)
