JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Near the end of 2019, Secretary General M. of the Constitutional Court (MK) Guntur Hamzah sworn in three Eschelon II officials in the Registrar\'s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court on Friday (20/12/2019) at the first floor hall of the Constitutional Court. Those officials are Triyono Edy Budhiarto as Junior Registrar I, Wiryanto as Junior Registrar II, and Kurniasih Panti Rahayu as Head of the Center for Research, Case Review, and Library Management.

In his remarks, Guntur stated that the inauguration carried out at the end of the 2019 work program and ahead of the new 2020 work program, must be interpreted as a reminder for the Constitutional Court that in the future there will be a lot of tasks to be carried out, including the settlement of cases in the Dispute over the Election of Regional Heads in 2020 (PHP Kada 2020). To that end, to the newly appointed officials, Guntur hoped that they would utilize technology to modernize the work of employees.

"Technological devices within the Constitutional Court are expected to make work more transparent and accountable. This will lead us to objective judgments. So, we all can be far from bad intentions in every business process of the Constitutional Court, because all is open to the public," said Guntur in front of all employees.

Before concluding his remarks, Guntur reminded all employees to adapt to the progress and familiarize themselves with technology. Technology, he added, if used optimally will produce success for the progress of the organization. Thus, he explained, technology does not only mean information technology, but also integrity, transparency, and honesty because behind technology there are people. Thus, humans as the operators must also maintain integrity and honesty in decision making, which can then be accounted for the changes. (Sri Pujianti/LA)
