MALANG, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—To improve integrity, dedication, and professionalism in the Registrar\'s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court, all civil servants and contract employees followed a Motivational and Workplace Culture Training and Work Meeting and 2019 PHPU Evaluation in Batu, Malang on Friday (6/12/2019).

In the Plenary Meeting II, chairman Constitutional Justice Arief Hidayat delivered an evaluation of the Court\'s performance as the product of the Reform. According to him, in his seven year experience in the Court as a constitutional justice, he saw positive developments. At the beginning, he said, the Constitutional Court was a new state institution whose employees were recruited from diverse work environments. After joining the Court, these employees jointly build the best work culture. Then, the Court was able to recruit employees in accordance to the needs of the institution.

Justice Arief said that despite quality human resources, the Court still needs to improve them. With scholarships and training, both in and out of the country, employees will be able to continue improving themselves to carry out their duties and functions.

Indiscriminating

Justice Arief said that at the beginning of their careers, the Court employees work indiscriminatingly. They worked at all fields so it expanded their insights and experience.

“For younger [employees], utilize position transfers to the best of your abilities. Experience is priceless. In the future when you lead, you will not be taken advantage by your inferiors and you will be able to make good policies,” he said.

Justice Arief also highlighted responsibility and improving hard and soft skills. "Quality human resources and a sense of togetherness and enthusiasm to build this institution without ego will develop personal excellence into institutional excellence. So, we need synergy from these extraordinary individual potentials," he hoped.

The meeting will last for four days since Thursday evening to Sunday (5-8/12/2019). The main agenda of the work meeting was to discuss the 2020 Work Program and to evaluate the support of the Registrar\'s Office and the Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court in handling the 2019 legislative and presidential PHPU cases. In the Plenary Session I through IV, each work unit will describe their Work Programs for the Fiscal Year of 2020 and evaluate the support of the task force for handling disputes over the results of the 2019 Elections, including the elaboration of ICT and application for handling judicial review cases and regional head election in 2020.
