BEKASI, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Risk assessment as one of the elements of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) is intended as a source of information to be used by leaders in making decisions. This is important in order to create a comfortable work environment for all employees. This was stated by Chief Registrar Muhidin when opening an FGD on Improvement of Risk Management on 2019 General Elections Results Dispute in the Registrar\'s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court on Wednesday (27/11/2019) in Bekasi, West Java.
"We have carried out a series of risk assessment a while ago […] beginning with risk identification. Therefore, we will finalize the risk assessment in the next two days. This activity is carried out in order to achieve the maturity of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP), which has been regulated in [Government Regulation] No. 60/2008, so that organizational goals are achieved through effective and efficient activities, reliability of financial reporting, securing state assets, and adherence to laws and regulations," Muhidin stressed.
Muhidin said the purpose of the FGD on Risk Management Improvement was to finalize the risk assessment carried out by each work unit so as to provide understanding as well as to provide assistance in finalizing risk assessment for work units in preparing risk profile documents.
Constitutional Court Inspector Pawit Haryanto in his report said that based on the assessment by the State Audit and Development Agency, currently the SPIP maturity of the Constitutional Court had reached a value of 3,000, with some notes including completing the Risk Assessment of all work units within the Constitutional Court. The Inspectorate is committed to oversee the implementation of SPIP by improving risk management in the Registrar\'s Office and the Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court.
"The FGD on Risk Management Improvement on the 2019 General Elections Results Dispute [aims at] increasing SPIP maturity in the Constitutional Court to realize good governance," Pawit explained.
The activity that took place for the past two days, Wednesday-Thursday (27-28/11/2019) was attended by 56 participants, consisting of Echelon II officials and structural officials from each work unit as risk owners and employees appointed as Risk Officers. (Lulu Anjarsari/M.Nur)
