JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Head of the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center Kurniasih Panti Rahayu officially closed the program for improving understanding of constitutional rights for interfaith organization figures, Friday (25/10/2019) in Sentul, Bogor.
"The enforcement of Constitutional values does not depend solely on state institutions, including the Constitutional Court, but also supported by figures and all elements of society," she said to 100 participants who attended the program
Kurniasih said enforcement of law and the Constitution requires awareness of the Constitution for all citizens. The Constitutional Court, represented by the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center, held various activities aimed at improving understanding of Pancasila and the Constitution.
The program for improving understanding of constitutional rights for interfaith organization figures, said Kurniasih, is a manifestation of the Court’s efforts in upholding the values of Pancasila and the Constitution.
"We have been together through this activity. Interfaith organization leaders have a very important role in society. Education of Pancasila and the Constitution is an effort to build a good legal culture for the whole country, especially organizational leaders. We hope that leaders of interfaith organizations will be able to play an active role as agents of change in the society," she explained.
"It means [you] are able to be agents of change in a positive direction and work hand in hand in the development to achieve the ideals of the Indonesian people by putting aside all differences. Hand in hand in unity. Then hopefully this great nation will become a strong nation and equal to other nations," Kurniasih added.
