JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Improving risk management not only concerns with the level of risk, but also with the monitoring and review of documents. In essence, risk management exists in all activities and is inherent when making plans. This was said by Rully Damayanti of PT Kokek in the technical assistance program on risk management for staff of the Registrar\'s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court on Tuesday (22/10/2019) in the Delegation Room.
Rully further explained that each year, activities or work programs are planned, so during the process and implementation, risk assessment must also be carried out. To facilitate this, she added, it is necessary to determine responsibilities and the attitude of each field to the risk, whether the risk will be accepted or rejected so that the activities are canceled, whether risks are minimized with various anticipatory measures, or the risk is transferred by involving third parties or insuring the activities made so that the risk can be delegated to another party.
In this technical assistance program, the participants were able to directly ask related technical matters that they had encountered when preparing plans and improving risk management. Head of the Household Subdivision Ardli Nuryadi asked about the efforts to minimize risk, considering that an work plan at the Constitutional Court uses different systems at each bureau. Responding to this, Rully said that to minimize risk, the target frequency is reduced so that the impact of the risk can be minimized by applying the principles of risk management by absorbing the best information available. "When we have determined the frequency level, the next important thing in risk management is communication and consultation, so that all systems that have been designed can be implemented optimally with a minimum risk that certainly can be resolved with proper handling," said Rully.
The technical assistance program on risk management takes place for two days (21-22/10/2019) to formulate more optimal performance targets and to improve risk management. The participants are given basic knowledge about risk management and risk assessment procedures by experienced consultants in their fields. Afterward, the participants will be assisted in preparing risk identification procedures in each work unit. (Sri Pujianti/NRA)
