JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) held a farewell event for the Head of the Center for Research, Case Review, and Library Management Rubiyo on Friday (27/9/2019) at the ground floor hall of the Constitutional Court. After a morning workout session, Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah expressed his farewell greetings to Rubiyo, who had served in the Constitutional Court since 2010.

Guntur expressed his pride and gratitude for Rubiyo’s dedication, knowledge, and work as a civil servant. "On behalf of the Constitutional Court, we apologize to Mr. Rubiyo for taking away the time you should have spent with your family […] on building this judicial institution. In fact, all of [our work] is a sign of our love for and devotion to the institution," Guntur explained. 

In his remarks, Rubiyo revealed the beginning of his career as a civil servant in Semarang City. In 2010 joined the Constitutional Court. At first, Rubiyo was stationed in the financial department, wher he learned how to manage state finances, especially in the judiciary, which deals with sensitive issues. 

"Alhamdulillah [thank God), while [serving] for the Court, I was grateful to be surrounded by leaders who always show appreciation and in this environment everyone maintains good intentions at work and keep away from opportunities to do bad things," explained Rubiyo, who had also served as the Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Bureau. 

At the end of his speech, Rubiyo expressed his gratitude and apologies to every person whom he had worked with. At the end of the event, Guntur also handed a memento to Rubiyo for his services with the Constitutional Court. Wish you happiness on your new journey, Mr. Rubiyo! (Sri Pujianti/LA)
