JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) welcomed SMP Citra Kasih Jakarta on Thursday (19/9/2019) at the ground floor hall of the Constitutional Court. Before142 grade VIII students and 13 teachers, researcher Rima Yuwana Yustikaningrum talked about " The Constitutional Court: The Reform and Amendment to the Constitution." Next to moderator, Citizenship Education (PKn) teacher Jimmy Hasibuan, she first explained the history of the establishment of the Constitutional Court and the authorities of the Constitutional Court.

"One of the Constitutional Court\'s authorities is reviewing the laws. So, for example, if there is an article or formation of the law that is considered contrary to the 1945 Constitution, it could be challenged in the Constitutional Court," said Rima.

To break the ice, Rima gave the students a quiz with a prize. Gavin Justine won it after answering the question, "The Constitutional Court\'s decision is erga omnes. What is erga omnes?" The next quiz question is on the Constitutional Court\'s birthday and age this year, won by Vincent.

After the presentation, the students and the accompanying teachers headed to the Constitution History Center room located on the 5-6th floors of the Constitutional Court building. (Iqbal Aditya Putra/NRA)
