MAKASSAR, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) collaborated with the Law Faculty of Hasanuddin University to hold a coordination meeting (rakor) on the implementation of Constitutional Celebration on Friday (13/09/2019). The annual event will be held at the Law Faculty of Hasanuddin University on October 24-25, 2019. Deputy Chief Justice Aswanto, Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah, Head of the Legal and Registrar Administration Bureau Wiryanto, and the Law Faculty Dean of Hasanuddin University Farida Patittingi attended the coordination meeting.

The Secretary General of the Constitutional Court M. Guntur Hamzah said that the meeting aimed to establish cooperation between the Constitutional Court and universities including UNHAS. This year, the Court has been increasing cooperation with UNHAS through the Constitutional Celebration. The event will also feature a book review and a national seminar on the direction of national law development and human resource development. "For the organization of this event, we have prepared several things related to the Constitutional Celebration," said Guntur. 

The event will be attended by academics, students, and the general public. Guntur also revealed that recently the Court had published 24 books on law and the Constitution. Several speakers had been invited for the event, including legal experts, constitutional justices, and leaders of state institutions.
