Law Students of Madura University Talk Procedural Law in Constitutional Court

JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Forty-one Law Faculty students of Madura University (UNIRA) visited the Constitutional Court on Monday (2/9). They were welcomed by researcher Winda Wijayanti, who introduced them to the Constitutional Court in her presentation, entitled "Constitutional Court: Guardian of the Constitution and Democracy."

Winda, next to constitutional procedure law lecturer Nadir and Dean II of Madura University, invited students to get to know more about the constitutional justices at the Constitutional Court and their the duties and terms of office. "When [you] 47 years of age and if the requirements are still the same, hopefully some of you here will become constitutional justices," Winda said seeing the enthusiasm of UNIRA students in listening to her presentation. 

Winda also introduced two media that facilitates Constitutional Court researchers and law activists to share their knowledge, namely the Constitution Journal, which is published four times a year, and the Constitutional Review, published twice a year. "[You] can later read this journal so that [you] will be encouraged to write in this media," Winda said. 

After the presentation, Winda invited the students to ask questions and discuss. The students were also invited to tour the History and Constitution Center located on the 6th floor of the Constitutional Court building to see clearly the dioramas of the history of the Indonesian Constitution.
