JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court— Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah of the Constitutional Court (MK) welcomed three representatives of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB), Thursday (29/8/2019) at the 11th floor Delegation Room. All heads of bureaus were present in the meeting. The representatives were to evaluate the public services in the Constitutional Court.

Guntur stressed that the Court has been resolute in carrying out bureaucratic reform. Public services in the Constitutional Court are transparent and accountable. "At the moment the Constitutional Court has started digitalization. All services are electronic-based," he explained. He said that the public can access and obtain all information available in the Court quickly and efficiently. Everything is supported by a centralized server.

While showing the contents of the Court’s website, he explained that all information is available on the website, including Court hearing schedule, minutes, and decision. He also said that the Court had just received an award from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) for its transparency.

Guntur also elaborated on the scope of public services in the Constitutional Court, which is based on the Regulation of the Secretariat General No. 28 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Public Service Standards. These services include consultation, visit to the Constitutional Court, public complaints, requests for internship, requests for information, news coverage about the Constitutional Court, collaboration with universities, petition filing, minutes of hearings, hearings, and decisions.

"The Court divides its employees into two sectors: the Secretary General and the Registrar\'s Office, to provide public services. The Secretariat General deals with general administration and the Registrar\'s Office deals with judicial administration," he explained.

Deputy Assistant of Coordination for the Implementation, Policy, and Evaluation of Public Services Region I of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Noviana Andriana expressed admiration for the Court’s public services, which is in line with the transformation to excellent services expected by the ministry. This emphasizes paperless institution, e-gov, and happiness. However, she asked the Court not to be complacent and to always improve its public services.
