JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—PT Taspen, represented by Director of Operations and Risk Management Ermanza and Head of Jakarta Main Branch Office Heri Sukmara visited the Constitutional Court (MK) on Monday (19/8/2019). They were welcomed by Constitutional Justice Wahidudiddin Adams, who was accompanied by the Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah, Head of Human Resources and Organization Bureau Teguh Wahyudi, and Head of Human Resources Division Iman Sudirman, in the Meeting Room.

In his remarks, Ermanza conveyed that their visit was to promote Proactive Service Products for the Endowment Savings Program (THT) for State Officials. Ermanza said Constitutional Justice Wahiduddin is nearing his term as a civil servant lecturer at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, where he served before becoming a constitutional justice. For this reason, as part of the breakthrough by PT Taspen on the civil apparatus retirees, PT Taspen provides optimal services by visiting the retirees in question directly.

"We have proactive service products for civil servants who are currently active, [so that] when they retire they do not need to take care of the pension anymore. We have a decree 3 months before he retires. So, we only need to request documents from employees who will retire so that the following month retirement savings will be received directly by the person n question without the need to deal with bureaucracy," Ermanza explained.

PT Taspen’s Program Welcomed by Justice

Constitutional Justice Wahiduddin welcomed this reform carried out by PT Taspen. As some of his friends and family members who are civil servants had entered retirement had to take care of their endowment, which was quite difficult in their advanced age. He also said that constitutional justices differ from Supreme Court justices in that in the Constitutional Court, there are no career justices as they are representatives of three state institutions. However, he much appreciated PT Taspen\\'s proactive program, which facilitates civil servants.

"I am very happy to [have PT Taspen does such a program] because later in retirement we will no longer have friends in the workplace and of course will face confusion, especially with regard to technical problems in the management of retirees. So, this method is very helpful in time because we are offered good service like this," said Wahiduddin, who once served as the Director General of Legislation.

After a friendly talk, Ermanza handed over the evidence of the Endowment Savings to Constitutional Justice Wahiduddin. At the end of the visit, PT Taspen, who cooperates with Bank Bukopin in regards to the distribution of the civil servants’ endowments, through the Director of Bank Bukopin Lalu Azhari handed over a passbook and an ATM card that could be used directly by retired civil servants who had been declared as having entered the retirement period.
