JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court granted the withdrawal of case No. 112-10-13/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019 on the 2019 DPR-DPRD (House of Representatives-Regional Legislative Council) election results dispute (PHPU) of Central Java Province filed by the United Development Party (PPP).

The ruling pronouncement hearing was held on Tuesday (6/8/2019) in the Plenary Courtroom of the Constitutional Court. Chief Justice Anwar Usman, with the eight other constitutional justices, in a decree reminded that the withdrawal of PPP’s (Petitioner) petition meant that the petition cannot be re-submitted. “The Petitioner cannot re-file the a quo petition,” stressed Justice Anwar Usman.
