JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court (MK) granted the withdrawal of petition No. 53-14-11/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019 filed by the Democratic Party in the 2019 DPR-DPRD (House of Representatives-Regional Legislative Council) election results dispute (PHPU) of DKI Jakarta Province.

In the ruling hearing on Wednesday (7/8/2019) in the Plenary Courtroom of the Constitutional Court, Chief Justice Anwar Usman granted the withdrawal of petition. “The Petitioner cannot resubmit the a quo petition,” said Justice Anwar before the other eight constitutional justices.
