JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—Witness of the Democratic Party (Re;evant Party) Herman Rusul Yunus explained that the recapitulation of vote count in Empat Lawang Regency went smoothly without significant problems. Herman\'s statement dismissed the allegation that the Democratic Party\'s votes were inflated and led to a decrease in PKS’s votes. "During the vote recapitulation plenary [meeting], there was no objection from PKS," said Herman, branch executive board (DPC) chairperson of the Democratic Party of Empat Lawang Regency.

This was revealed by Herman while giving a testimony in the 2019 DPR-DPRD (House of Representatives-Regional Legislative Council) Election Results Dispute (PHPU) hearing of South Sumatra Province on Tuesday afternoon (23/07/2019) at the Constitutional Court. The hearing was to hear the testimonies of the witnesses of the Petitioners, the Respondent, and the Relevant Parties.

The Nasdem Party’s witness Darsono explained that according to the Sub-district Election Committee (PPK) of Pangkalan Lampam, some votes had been switched from the Nasdem Party to the National Awakening Party (PKB) in the 2019 legislative election of Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency. "Regarding the issue, Nasdem has collected all C1 forms in five sub-districts. Then, in 3 sub-districts in Ogan Komering Ilir some of votes had been switched from the Nasdem Party to PKB," said Darsono.

Meanwhile, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Bawaslu (Elections Supervisory Agency) Commissioner Hadi Irawan revealed that chairpersons and members of the District Election Committee (PPK) in five sub-districts—Pendopo, West Pendopo, Muara Pinang, Lintang Kanan, and Ulu Musi—in Empat Lawang Regency had been declared suspects.
