Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) through attorney Ahmad Syafa\'at explained the subjects of the petition for the 2019 DPR-DPRD Legislative Election Results Dispute (PHPU) on Wednesday (10/07/2019) at the Panel Courtroom of the Constitutional Court. The Gerindra Party filed a petition of the 2019 DPR-DPRD PHPU in Dapil Magelang 3. Petition No. 158-02-13/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019 detailed an incident during the General Elections on April 17, 2019.
"[We] found ballot papers for the election of Magelang DPRD members that were not in accordance with their constituencies, because they came from a different electoral district, Dapil Magelang 2," Ahmad explained to Justice Aswanto, chairperson of the panel, with Constitutional Justices Saldi Isra and Manahan M. P. Sitompul on the bench.
Ahmad said that the ballot papers were wrongly distributed, among others, at TPS 12 and 13 of North Kramat Village, North Magelang Sub-district.
Gerindra Party witnesses questioned the error during the North Magelang Sub-district PPK plenary meeting. Then the witnesses expressed their objection on a DB2 form.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) through attorney Yanuar P. Wasesa revealed the subjects of petition No. 75-03-13/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019. One of them is that PDIP claimed that 802 votes had been purged in Dapil Central Java 6. The vote results determined by the KPU show that PDIP received 598,419 votes, the Nasdem Party received 119,778 votes, and the Democratic Party received 120,020 votes. Therefore, PDIP requested the annulment of the KPU\'s Decree on the results DPR election in Dapil Central Java 6.
Meanwhile, the Democrat Party, in petition No. 55-14-13/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019, questioned alleged inflation of votes between fellow DPR candidates from the Democratic Party, Djoko Udjianto and Harmusa Oktaviani. Djoko Udjianto initially received 5,678 votes, while Hermusa Oktaviani received 9.775 votes. However, there Hermusa’s votes were inflated to 20,075, while Djoko received 10,974 votes.
The panel also examined petition No. 138-09-13/PHPU.DPR-DPRD/XVII/2019 submitted by the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo) for DPRD candidates of the Dapil Pati 1. The petition also questions vote purging and ballot stuffing between the Pati DPRD candidates for members from the Perindo Party in Dapil Pati 1.
Perindo\'s attorney Hery Firmansyah revealed vote purging of Pati DPRD candidate Joko Mustiko. On the other hand, the votes for Perindo’s DPRD candidate Agus Rofi\'i were inflated. (Nano Tresna Arfana/NRA)
