JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The National Mandate Party (PAN) of South Sumatera through their attorney Zulfikar submited evidence and statement to the Constitutional Court in the 2019 legislative election results dispute (PHPU) case on Thursday afternoon (4/7/2019) at the ground floor of the Constitutional Court. In this case, PAN is the Relevant Party in the 2019 legislative PHPU petition submitted by the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).
Zulfikar said that his camp had submitted 45 pieces of evidence in response to the petition filed by the Prosperous Justice Party for Banyuasin District electoral district (dapil) I, consisting of C1 forms and other supporting document. “In accordance with the mechanism of the Constitutional Court Regulation, we submitted documents as the Relevant Party from the PKS,” said Zulfikar to the press after submitting the documents.
Zulfikar further revealed that the evidence submitted was a statement for the electoral district (dapil) I for Banyuasin District, which was petitioned by the Petitioner. Two polling stations (TPS) in two sub-districts, Banyuasin District III and Rantau Bayur District, were allegedly problematic. “[We submitted] C1 forms evidence and our statement regarding a small margin of 33 votes,” explained Zulfikar ending his statement.
After handling the 2019 presidential and vice presidential election results dispute (PHPU), the Constitutional Court continues to be preparing for the 2019 legislative PHPU hearings. The preliminary hearings will commence on July 9, 2019 to examine the completeness and clarity of the materials of the petitions as well as to approve the evidence. (Sri Pujianti/NRA/FS/YW)
