JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The National Democratic Party (Nasdem) is among the petitioners coming to Court on the last day to complete petition. They arrived at the Court on Friday evening (31/5/2019).
Today is the deadline for petition document completion, at 22.00 WIB. Nasdem’s attorney Qodirun arrived at the Constitutional Court at around 21.00 WIB. As member of Nasdem’s Legal Aid Institute (Bahu), he represented the Party to file a petition for Aceh Province. “We have arrived at the Court earlier in the afternoon. Because this is still within the deadline, we tried to complete the document,” he said. He added evidence and a list of evidence, such as the C1, DAA, and DB forms. His client suffered reduced votes in Aceh Province. The C1 form recorded a number that is different from the sub-district record. Strikethrough and a trace of correction pen could be found. “We have reported it to the Elections Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu),” he said.
The petition had been submitted to the Court on Thursday (23/5/2019) at 22.57 WIB. On Tuesday (28/5/2019) at 10.00 WIB, the petition for the 2019 DPR and DPRD election results dispute had been examined.
Based on the examination, the petitioner was deemed incomplete according to the Constitutional Court Regulation (PMK) No. 2 of 2018. The Registrar then issued an Incomplete Petition Certificate (APBL) and the Petitioner was given the opportunity to complete the document 3x24 hours after the APBL was received, at the latest. On the last day of the case document reception, Chief Justice Anwar Usman also visited the reception area on the ground floor.
