Gerindra Completes 2019 Legislative PHPU Document

The Great Movement Party (Gerindra) completed the petition for the 2019 Legislative Election Results Dispute (PHPU), Wednesday (29/5/2019). The additional document is for Riau Islands Province (Kepri), North Sulawesi Province (Sulut), West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar), and West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).

The Gerindra Party attorney Alex Candra arrived at the Constitutional Court at 17:00 WIB with a number of boxes containing document. The additional document for NTB includes a list of evidence, letter or written evidence, data in a USB drive, as well as a letter of attorney from the Petitioner. "We did not forget to revise the petition, [and] made it into four copies. [We also attach] the approval of the chairperson (ketum) and the secretary general of the party (Gerindra)," he explained.

Alex added that he submitted additional document for the Riau Islands Province, including a list of evidence, letter or written evidence, and data in a USB drive. He also included a revised petition as the previous petition had been for the Riau Islands Province and the North Sumatra Province. In addition, he added a document containing signatures of the chairperson and secretary general of the Gerindra Party.  

Other cases from North Sulawesi and West Sulawesi Provinces are handled by attorney Maulana Bungaran. Additional document for North Sulawesi Province includes the Petitioner\\'s letter of attorney, a list of evidence, evidence in the form of a written letter, and data in the USB drive. He also submitted additional three copies of the revised petition.

For the West Sulawesi Province case, Maulana added a list of evidence, written evidence, data in a USB drive, and the Petitioner\\'s letter of attorney. In addition, he added a document containing signatures of the chairperson and secretary general of the Gerindra Party. He submitted additional three copies of the petition.

Petitioners are given three days, from May 28-30, to complete the petition document. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 24.00 WIB is the deadline for completing the document. So far, the Constitutional Court has received 327 petitions for DPR and DPRD (House of Representatives and Regional Legislative Council) PHPU, 10 petitions for DPD PHPU, and 1 presidential PHPU petition.
