JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The first petition of the 2019 legislative election results dispute was registered at the Constitutional Court on Wednesday Rabu (22/5/2019) by Regional Representatives Council (DPD) candidate from North Maluku, Ikbal Djabid.

The petition was registered at 13.38 WIB by attorney Aries Surya. However, the petition was incomplete, so the registration administrator requested that the Petitioner complete it immediately after he receives a notification. The complete petition will be recorded in the electronic constitutional case registration book (e-BRPK).

Until around 18.00 WIB, no more petitions were registered. Several people came to consult on cases.

At the same day, all constitutional justices visited the hall to check the preparation by the 2019 legislative and presidential elections dispute task force. They also checked the courtroom and the front of the Court building. All was done to ensure the smooth implementation of all activities. (Arif Satriantoro/LA/Yuniar Widiastuti)
