JAKARTA, Public Relations of the Constitutional Court—The Constitutional Court held the 2018 Annual Members Meeting of Constitutional Court Cooperative on “More Gratitude, Stronger Cooperative” at the hall of ground floor of the Constitutional Court on Thursday (28/3/2019). The event was officially opened by Chief Justice Anwar Usman who expressed his pride of the managers who have improved the lives of its members. Quoting Al Qur’an Surah Ibrahim verse 7, “And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, \'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe,\'” Justice Anwar advised that the members of the Constitutional Court Cooperative be more grateful for the blessings during their membership in the cooperative.

"If you are grateful, you shall receive more blessings. But if we are ungrateful, those blessings can be revoked. So, we should be grateful for the blessings gained while being a member of this constitutional cooperative," he said in the presence of Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah. 

Management

On the same occasion the Secretary General of the Constitutional Court M. Guntur Hamzah, who is also in the Advisory Council of the Constitutional Cooperative, conveyed the importance of holding the 2018 Annual Members Meeting of Constitutional Court Cooperative, which is not only related to the increase of cooperative income and profits, but is the mandate of the cooperative managers in managing cooperative funds. In addition, Guntur hoped that with the increase in cooperative income, cooperative management will increasingly play a role in supporting work units at the Constitutional Court that need assistance of the cooperative. 

In the annual activity attended by all members of the Constitutional Cooperative, which consists of structural and functional officials and employees of the Constitutional Court, an Accountability Report and 2018Plenary Meeting of Ratification of the Accountability Report also took place. In addition, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Cooperative of the 2019-2021 Term was elected. The event was concluded with the distribution prizes for lucky cooperative members.
