The Constitutional Court’s Constitutional Journal received the Muhammad Yamin Constitutional Award, represented by Head of Public Relations and Protocol Bureau Rubiyo during the closing ceremony of the 3^rd Muhammad Yamin Constitutional Awards in 2018 in Batusangkar, Padang on Sunday (11/12).

The program, initiated by Andalas University Center for Constitutional Studies, gave awards in seven categories: Constitutional Journal, Constitutional Law Academic Paper (won by constitutional law lecturer of Airlangga University Herlambang P. Wiratrama), Constitutional Law Young Thinker (won by Vice Chairperson for Academic and Research at the Jentera School of Law, Bivitri Susanti), Constitutional MC (won by Najwa Shihab), Constitutional Law Monumental Works (won by former law professor of University of Indonesia Law Faculty Abdul Abidin Saleh Attamimi), Journalist on Constitution (won by Norman Edwin Elnizar), and Lifetime Achievement (won by Solly Lubis). The award event was attended by national figures who also acted as judges, including Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court for 2008–2013 Mahfud M.D., constitutional law professor of Andalas University Yuliandri, constitutional law professor of Islamic University of Indonesia Ni\'matul Huda, UGM Anti-Corruption Activist Zainal Arifin Mochtar, and others.

The awards (AKMY) were an appreciation for constitutional figures in Indonesia in their respective fields, who have participated in building the nation and state. The event also celebrated the 67^th anniversary of Unand Law Faculty and the 14^th anniversary of the Unand Law Faculty Center for Constitutional Studies (PUSaKO) under the theme “The Challenges of Maintaining People\'s Sovereignty in Elections.” Mahfud M.D. as chairman of the jury said that AKMY were to motivate constitutional figures in Indonesia to continue working and spreading constitutional spirit and inspire others.
