Political parties are the pillars of democracy for the implementation of successful general elections. To ensure that synergy is established, both state administrators and electoral institutions must work together and get prepared. This was conveyed by the Constitutional Court Registrar Kasianur Sidauruk when giving a speech at the opening of the Technical Assistance Program of the 2019 Elections Results Dispute Resolution for the Great Movement Party (Gerindra), Monday (12/11/2018) at the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center, Cisarua, Bogor.

Kasianur said that a total of 141 participants from 31 provinces were present not only as representatives of political parties, but also as advocates who could litigate at the Constitutional Court. "Thus, [this program] will be very valuable for all those present because the speakers are judicial authorities," explained Kasianur in the presence of the Head of the Pancasila and Constitution Education Center Budi Achmad Djohari and General Secretary of the Legal Advocacy Agency Indonesia Raya of Gerindra Executive Board M. Said Bakhri.

Kasianur also said that the development of democracy in elections can be interpreted as a positive process of political education for the community. In addition, elections can also result in issues, including the resolution of the dispute after the recapitulation is carried out by the KPU.

Kasianur hopes that through the three-day technical assistance program (12-14/11/2018), all parties can maintain the process and synergy for the success of the elections to safeguard people\'s sovereignty. "Hopefully the 2019 Elections will run according to the principles in the Constitution," he said. (Sri Pujianti/LA/Yuniar Widiastuti)
