Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah opened the Technical Assistance Program on Supervision Management in the Registrar’s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court, Friday (21/9/2018) in Bogor, West Java. "The Inspectorate is the eyes and ears of this institution so that its activities are within guidelines," Guntur said in his speech.
According to him, compliance with the rules, budget savings, and work effectiveness are key to the organization, which is the work area of the supervisor. In the event attended by 36 employees consisting of the audit, finance, planning, and registrar departments, Guntur said supervisors had a role to maintain the direction of the organization to stick to the mission, budget, and rules so that the objectives of the Court as a modern and reliable judicial institution can be realized.
According to Guntur, working as best as the Court can will result in it being a trusted judicial institution. Modern does not always mean using sophisticated, modern equipment, but means a better working attitude. “Being modern is a work in progress because there will always be updates," Guntur said.
Guntur also reminded employees to work in accordance with guidelines. Guntur said that supervisors had helped him in terms of policies in the Registrar\'s Office and the Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court.
At the event that took place until Sunday, September 23, 2019, Guntur said that the Inspectorate has a strong position as it can directly engage with the Ethical Board, as the Inspectorate also deals with the budgets of constitutional justices. (Ilham/LA/Yuniar Widiastuti)
