Chief Justice Anwar Usman spoke at the pen Senate Meeting of Attahiriyah Islamic University Graduation of Undergraduates Class XXII and Postgraduates Class XII at Sasana Prajurit Sudirman Building, Jakarta on Monday (30/7/2018). He emphasized the importance for graduates to dedicate themselves to the people, nation, and state. This is important as all graduates will make contributions not only nationally but also globally.

Justice Anwar also spoke of the number of graduates of Attahiriyah Islamic University who would be competing in the global world to improve the quality of education. “There are approximately 1,000 graduates of this university of 4 faculties and 1 postgraduate program. This is not a small number of graduates who will make great contributions to the state and nation, and globally,” he said.

He added that the country currently needs graduates with character, as not all graduates are able to offer contributions to the advancement of the country. He said that graduating from university is not only to receive a diploma or to get a job or to get material compensation. Concluding his speech, Justice Anwar said that he believed the alumni would have great visions because they had the knowledge to dedicate to the welfare of the humanity.
