The Constitutional Court’s Pancasila and Constitution Education Center (Pusdik) organized an iftar with 100 orphans on Wednesday (6/6/2018) “Reaching Happiness with 100 Orphans.” Chief Justice Anwar Usman and all Pusdik staff attended the event.

Chief Justice Anwar Usman spoke about the history of the Quran. The Quran, which comprises 6,666 verses, was revealed incrementally. He said that the iftar event can be found in one of the verses in the Quran. “This event […] is one of the obligations mandated by God, and is a manifestation of one of the values of Pancasila principle, social justice for all Indonesians,” Justice Anwar said.

Before breaking the fast, there was a sermon. The event was closed by giving donation to the 100 orphans. (Hidayat/Sri/LA/Yuniar Widiastuti)
