A number of employees of Constitutional Court (MK) attended Pancasila Sanctity Day Commemoration Ceremony held on Monday (1/10) at MK Building Yard. The Head of Education Center for Pancasila and Constitution MK Budi Achmad Djohari acted as ceremonial inspector.

At such occasion, an employee of the Law and Administration Bureau of MK Court Clerk Office Grenata Petra Claudia read out the Pledge of Loyalty to Pancasila submitted by the Chairman of DPR  RI  (House  of  Representatives  RI)  Bambang Soesatyo. ”Pledge, in front of the One and Only God in commemorating Pancasila Sanctity Day, we unanimously intend to consistently maintain and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of power to gather togetherness to fight for, enforce truth and justice for the intactness of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” Petra said.

In the Pledge text there is any emphasis that since the proclamation of Indonesia independence on 17 August 1945, disturbance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has occurred many times. This may occur due to negligence and the lack of awareness of Indonesian nation to any activities that attempt to change Pancasila as state ideology. Accordingly, with the spirit of togetherness based on the noble  values  of  Pancasila  ideology,  Indonesia  nation  is determined   to    strengthen   the    establishment   of    the    Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
