Ibu kita Kartini, Putri sejati, Putri Indonesia, Harum namanya (Our mother Kartini, The real princess, Indonesian Princess, Her name\'s praiseworthy). Such is the lines of the lyrics to the song Ibu Kartini, which all staff members of the Registrar’s Office and Secretariat General of the Constitutional Court sang at the lobby of the courtroom of the Constitutional Court in the commemoration of Kartini Day on Monday (23/4/2018).

Head of the Legal and Registrar Administration Kurniasih Panti Rahayu, in her address, said that the Kartini Day was not merely about wearing traditional clothing, but a moment of gratitude that women today were able to stand equal to men in various fields, economy, social, law, and politics. In the Constitutional Court, the celebration of Kartini was marked by the increasing role of women and men in advancing the judiciary together. The spirit of equality put forward by Kartini is expected to continue to live along with the position of women in fighting for their constitutional rights, as guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution.
