All staff of the Constitutional Court held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day (Sacred Pancasila) on Monday morning (2/10) at the yard of the Constitutional Court. Junior Registrar I Triyono Edy Budhiarto led the ceremony.
Staff member Indah Karmadaniah read out the pledge of the Pancasila Day from House Vice Chairman Fachri Hamzah, encouraging the Indonesian people to maintain and practice Pancasila values.
“Pancasila [is] a source of force to promote togetherness to fight for [and] uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” she read out.
Since the proclamation of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) on August 17, 1945, a lot of forces, both domestic and foreign, have been trying to undermine the republic. They continue to develop because the nation is remiss in detecting activities that try to subvert state ideology, Pancasila.
The pledge also stressed the spirit of togetherness based on the noble values of Pancasila, which can strengthen the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. (Nano Tresna Arfana/LA/Yuniar Widiastuti)
