The Constitutional Court (MK) received unqualified (WTP) opinion for the 11th time on Thursday afternoon (14/9) at the Ministry of Finance’s Dhanapala building, Jakarta. The official statement was directly handed over by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani to Secretary General M. Guntur Hamzah and other ministries/state agencies leaders receiving the same official statement.

On the occasion, Minister Sri Mulyani revealed that more entities received unqualified opinion. In 2016, ministries/state agencies that received unqualified opinion rose to 73 from 56 in the previous year.

“Meanwhile, regional governments whose financial reports received WTP opinion in 2016 rose to 375. In 2015, it had been 312 regional governments,” she said. Sri Mulyani added that the unqualified opinion has a meaning not only to the Government as the administrator of state finance, but also to the national economy and the people.

The hand over took place in the 2017 Accounting and Financial Reporting national working meeting (Rakernas). In the meeting, the Government presented awards to ministries/state agencies and regional governments (provincial, municipal, and district) that received unqualified opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board (BPK) for at least five times in a row.
