The Constitutional Court received awards from the Government Public Relations Coordinating Board (Bakohumas) in awarding night of 2016 Public Relations Media Award (Anugerah Media Humas), on Friday (18/11). Ministry of Communication and Information Technology’s communication partnership director Dedet Surya Nandika delivered the awards to the Court’s public relations, law and partnership acting bureau head Ardli Nuryadi.
The Court won awards in merchandise category as the second best, as well as in advertorial category and in institution profile category as the third best. The Court has received the award consecutively.
Public Relations Integration
Communication and Information Minister Rudiantara in his opening speech said that the Award is a form of appreciation to government public relations bureau’s role in building government reputation. “Government has done a lot, but the public don’t know much about it. That is the challenge for government public relation bureau to inform it to the public,” said him.
Rudiantara also said that the biggest obstacle in optimizing public relations bureau’s role is sectoral ego in bureaucracy. Therefore, the Government has sought to build integration among government public relations bureau, both in ministries and in regional governances.
Rudiantara explained that one of the attempts to create integration is by institution official website. He hoped that institution official website becomes tool to deliver government program information comprehensively in order to create integration among public relations bureau.
The event was a series of 2016 Government Public Relations Coordinating Board and National Public Relations Communities Meeting. It was attended by Regional and Remote Area Development Minister Eko Putro Sandjojo, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan, Financial Services Authority (OJK) Chairman Muliaman D. Hadad, Communication and Information Ministry’s public communication and information director general Rosarita Niken Widyastuti, and public relations bureau staffs from state institutions, state-owned enterprises, state universities, and regional governments.
