Teachers in Indonesia own huge responsibilities to educate their students and absorb values in Pancasila. Responsibilities are even bigger for Pancasila and Citizenship (PKn) Teachers. Beyond such responsibilities, follow akin consequences. Teachers, must possess Pancasila moral and Professionalism, so that the doctrine is reflected in their daily life.  

The statement was delivered by UGM Pancasila Study Centre Chief, Prof. Dr. Sudjito in front of 150 teachers who participated in 2014 Constitutional Rights Course and Training, Thursday (11/27), at Pancasila and Constitution Study Centre, Cisarua, Bogor.

The Law Professor at UGM emphasized, Pancasila as scientific paradigm conveys moral of truth. To balance the moral and keep the value immaculate, Teachers are obliged to induce the moral of truth within comprehensively.    

Closing his statement, Sudjito said that Teachers, youth, and students should have been studied past unpleasant experiences, to avoid the incidents from happening again in the future. “Teachers, youth, and students shall be critic and progressive to face the truth, don’t be ignorant over national problems,” Sadjito said.
