State-owned Enterprise (BUMN) Minister Dahlan Iskan alongside with his entourages paid a visit to Constitutional Court (MK) on Thursday (10/16). His arrival was welcomed by MK Chief Justice Hamdan Zoelva, accompanied by MK Secretary-general Janedjri M.Gaffar.
“I thank MK’s binding verdict. Although it was rejected but it is relieving, inspection to BUMN’s inventory must be split, using judgement business rules instead of judgement government rules,” Dahlan said.
As known, a year ago MK dropped a verdict on State Financial Act as the probe petitioned by 2 organizations University of Indonesia Strategic Study Institute and SOE Forum.
Dahlan revealed that BUMN Ministry is now working on a sort of things in order to comply MK’s verdict. However, before everything takes place, Dahlan asked MK Chief Justice’s suggestion.
In response to Dahlan Iskan’s request, Hamdan Zoelva described that the verdict must be complied utterly, also regarding dissenting opinion from Constitutional Court Justice Harjono.
“So the point is, state finance description split in Article 23 and Article 23D 1945 Constitution and determined in the Act, of which we categorized as State Finance, spared from state inventory,” Hamdan said.
“In accordance to which, cases filed to MK from University of Indonesia Strategic Forum Center and BUMN Legal Forum. In substance, the two cases are similar, to manage State’s finance separately,” Hamdan said.
Because of that, the two cases were conjoined. “During the inspection process, their entities are different one is bureaucracy while the other is corporation, so the inspection were separated,” Hamdan said closing the meeting. (Nano Tresna Arfana/mh/kun)
