Four members of Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) failed to attend the revision trial of UU MD3 held in MK on Wednesday (9/24). None of Ramdan Alamsyah, Wibi Andrino, Regginaldo Sultan, and Muannas or their attorney attended the trial.

In the first trial, led by Justice Patrialis Akbar, the plaintiffs delivered their petition, as well as the Panels who gave some advices. But today, as no one showed up in the scheduled trial, Justice Patrialis who led the trial without hesitation closed the trial after 15-minute compensation.

“We have waited for fifteen minutes, now the clock shows 14.15 after the trial opened. please be noted!,” Patrialis said.

The petition itself pleads the regulation of chair in Jakarta DPRD. The pleaded Article is Article 327 verse (1) letter a UU MD3. The Article determines that DPRD chair compositions must be consisting of one chief with four deputies. According to the Plaintiff, the ruling is now irrelevant as this year’s, Jakarta DPRD is packed with 106 members.
