Constitutional Court accepts and verifies written evidences from the Plaintiff, Defendant, and Related Party, as the sides are involved in the recent Presidential Election disputes.

In the Trial led by Hamdan Zoelva, MK verifies evidences from the Plaintiff, Candidate Pair Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa, with some notes that the evidences are flaw and yet to be completed, as well as KPU’s. Otherwise, written evidences filed by Related Party, Pair Candidate Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla, are declared sufficiently complete. “For those whose evidences are declared incomplete, may fix the documents by tomorrow, during the conclusion registration,” Hamdan said at MK Plenary Room, Jakarta, Monday (8/18).  

Technically, MK has accepted Plaintiff’s evidences lists, from P-1 to P-1000. However, the Court asks Plaintiff to ensure which exact evidences lists are going to be registered, because there are three versions of evidences lists being filed by the Plaintiff during registration. Besides, several double numbering were found and no physical evidences are attached for P.DPT-1 to P.DPT-34.       

“Some uncompleted physical evidences don’t match evidences list. It is your call, whether you’re going to attach the physical evidences or not,” he added.

Likewise, The Defendant also delivers incomplete physical evidences. In accordance to List of Additional Specific Voters (DPKTb), MK requires recap of DPKTb and its physical evidences to be attached in the registrtation, in order to check whether the lists and physical evidences are actually corresponding each other.    

Those who want to complete their evidences may attach their documents by tomorrow, Tuesday (8/19), at 10.00 AM. The verdict itself will be recited on Thursday (8/21), when validity of evidences will also be decided.(Lulu Hanifah/kun)
