PDIP Gained 4 More Votes in Kadia District

Constitutional Court (MK) held a trial of report hearing, in accordance to execution of PDIP’s lawsuit to plead over legislative elections in Southeast Sulawesi. The hearing was conducted on Wednesday (8/7) at MK Panel Session Room. The hearing was conducted after Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle’s (PDIP) pleading.

In the Judgment, MK annulled KPU’s decision dated May 9, 2014 for membership of DPRD Provinces in Southeast Sulawesi 1. From the recalculation, PDIP gained 4 more vote, therefore PDIP votes increased to 944 votes.   

“To settle corrected votes for each parties in Southeast Sulawesi for DPRD Province membership, as follow; Nasdem gains 4.157 votes, PKB gains 687 votes, PKS gains 1.831 votes, PDIP gains 944 votes, Golkar gains 2.019 votes, Gerindra gains 2.253 votes, Democratic Party gains 889 votes, PAN gains 6.098 votes, PPP gains 1.131 votes, Hanura gains 914 votes, PBB gains 1.009 votes, and PKPI gains 406 votes,” Chief of MK, Hamdan Zoelva said.  

Justice Anwar Usman explained that after the Court considering Defendant’s report, no change has been generated to divert elections’ result. Therefore, the Court will not be deliberating the case in anytime further as being objected by the Plaintiff.   

In the preceding trial, KPU of Southeast Sulawesi reported that recalculation in 86 TPS (Polling Stations) in all over Kendari has been taken undergone. Albeit, Tina Dian Ekawati as KPU Commissioner of Southeast Sulawesi, after the final result would be settled, PDIP asked another recalculation to be conducted after indication of fake ballots usage smeared. “After the objection took place, only 4 more votes added to PDIP. But it didn’t affect seats allocation,” he said.(Lulu Anjarsari/mh)
