Meanwhile, Prabowo-Hatta who were scheduled to deliver the lawsuit by themselves, didn’t attend the registration. The duo just delivered a speech at MK’s front yard instead.

According to one of their attorneys, Mahendradatta, the filed lawsuit is just one of their legal effort and not the end of their struggle. Mahedradatta also urges MK to deliberate the pleading at fairest.

Another attorney, Maqdir Ismail said that many state apparatus were involved in various violations across 52,000 polling stations (TPS) in the archipelago. Therefore, he asked MK to conduct re-voting in the 52,000 TPS. He also said that the General Elections Commission (KPU) has ignored protests from candidate pair number 1 during the elections.

Maqdir’s testimonies were echoed by Tim Pembela Merah Putih head Supriyanto, who said that the violations occurred since the campaign period, to the voting period, until the vote recap period. He cited KPU’s violation of opening a ballot box on July 23, one day after the president and vice president elect were announces. “No one is allowed to open a ballot box without permission from the Constitutional Court,” Didik said.
