Only one of the 35 cases of PHPU cases in Lampung, pleaded by 10 parties, is granted by MK. The granted pleading was delivered by PAN for a feud in Dapil 5 Pesawaran. It was revealed in Sentence Trial of Lampung PHPU on Thursday (26/6) in MK Plenary Room.

Prior to it, PAN deliberated recap result for the DPRD candidate in Dapil Pesawaran 5. According to the Plaintiff (PAN) there was an indication of inflated votes to Nasdem (Related Party) in Pagar Jaya Village and Bawang Village. Nasdem presumably gained its votes inflated to 2.227 votes. While PAN has no particular intention related of its votes.

After testimonies and evidences hearing, the Court sees that the Plaintiff’s argument is partially proven. The argument of 2.168 PAN’s votes was considered true, as well as other argument of Nasdem’s 208 inflated votes in TPS 2 and TPS 4 Pagar Jaya Village. Other accusation of Nasdem’s inflated votes in Bawang Village is considered unproven.  

In its sentence, the Court settled Nasdem’s votes in Dapil Pesawaran 5 to be 1.947 votes instead of 2.227 votes as KPU had announced. In other words, MK granted PAN’s argument about the inflated votes in Dapil Pesawaran 5.

In the same trial, MK declines and cites unacceptable for other nine parties’ lawsuits over Lampung feud. PPP, PKB, and Nasdem are which to decline.

Pleadings of Democratic Party, Gerindra, Golkar, and Hanura were also necessarily blown away. “PD’s pleading is deceiving (obsuur libel),” Justice Ahmad Fadlil Sumadi recited.

Prior to it, Nasdem reportedly filed a lawsuit as well as PKB and PPP, PKS filed 3, Golkar filed 5, Gerindra filed 4, PAN filed 5, Hanura filed 8, while PBB filed 3. In the marathon trial, the Court also annulled 11 ineligible complaints. (Yusti Nurul Agustin/mh/kun)
