Constitutional Court (MK) finally annulled lawsuits of PHPU in West Sumatera as filed by People’s Conscience Party (Hanura), United Development Party (PPP), and Crescent Star Party (PBB).While pleadings of National Democratic Party (Nasdem) and Function Group Party (Golkar) are considered unacceptable. The sentence was dropped by Head of MK Hamdan Zoelva who was accompanied by other 8 Judges, on Thursday (26/6).

On Hanura’s pleadings, the Court after deep consideration, cited that the Plaintiff has wrongly filed its complaint, according to KPU’s letter about List of Sumbar’s DPRD Candidates, no Hanura candidate had the name of Cindy Claudia as being objected.   

Apparently Cindy Claudia was listed as Hanura’s DPRD candidate to Dapil Sawahlunto 2 which is located in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province to be exacted. Moreover, the plaintiff didn’t explain where the object lost her votes whether it was in the district or whether it was happened in region. The objection was considered deceiving.     

While for the PBB’s pleading, Mahkamah has decided to decline as it was considered deceiving. It wasn’t really contained clear objections of error recap (conducted by the Defendant) and the right result to the Plaintiff accordingly. The Plaintiff also didn’t mention of his adjudication, whether to annul the result or to settle its own result as being regulated on Article 75 Act of MK.   

Golkar’s pleading was also blown off after the Court stated the Plaintiff’s argument of systematic, massive, and structured fudge wasn’t propped by proper and convincing evidences. The Court also declines Nasdem’s lawsuit as well.(Nano Tresna Arfana/mh/Kun)
