MK received its 8th WTP Predicate, Consecutively

Constitutional Court (MK) retains its Unqualified Opinion (WTP) predicate as the institution obtained another title, consecutively since 2004. The court received the WTP predicate for the successive 8th times after Supreme Audit Board (BPK) inspected MK’s financial report as per 2013. The inspection report is directly received by the General Secretary Janedri M. Gaffar from BPK’s Deputy Head Hasan Basri who was accompanied by BPK member, Agus Joko Pramono, Friday (20/6/14).    

According to Agus Joko Pramono, the WTP predicate will only be given to institution of which has fulfilled Governance Accounting Standart (SAP). BPK also regards MK’s efficiency on its Internal Controlling System and its submission over the Act.

BPK Deputy Head, Hasan Basri also explained that managing state’s financial is away from simplicity, it has to be completely suits the rule as well as principle of prosperous and merit. He also added, that the inspection is not meant to measure the workmanships but to supervise inventory and budgeting management.  

Hasan Bisri further retained that the audit isn’t meant to control over criminal cases of financial abuses, but still if such thing showed up during the audit, it has to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Administrative Reforms Minister (Menpan RB) Azwar Abubakar who represented his institution, BPK’s Audit is Constitution mandate. He emphasized that the better the accounting report being informed, the better the government’s progression would be. (Ilham/mh)
