Another PHPU trial was held by Constitutional Court (MK) at Panel 2 Hearing Room, Friday (13/6). The agenda of the trial was testimonial hearing of Nasdem and Gerindra in East Kalimantan.

Democratic Party’s witness, Sirlius Sambang from Sepaso village said that there were votes inflating and removal in PPS-level recap. “During the plenum in Bengalon PPK, Golkar’s votes were inflated to 617 votes. Oddity was also found on PPK plenum result as issued by Gerindra’s witness, Nasdem’s candidate number 2, Arpan, whose votes inflated by 59 to 90 votes,” he explained.      

Another Dems’ witness, Ahmad Irwan also disclosed systemic fudges which happened in East Kutai, especially in two districts, South Sangata and Bengalon.

“Your Majesty, there were 5 PPK members been caught by the cops and subjected to be the suspects. In respond to Sirilus’ statement, we and other 11 parties pleaded for the re-election in all TPS in Bengalon district,” said the Dems’ witness

Zero Vote

Meanwhile,Gerindra’s witness stated inflated votes. “There are 5 sub-districts in North Samarinda, North Sempajam South Sempaja, Lempake, Tanah Merah and Sungai Siring. Gerindra DPR-RI number 1 candidate’s votes were nixed in the five sub-districts. Your Majesty,” Karimun Adi who acted as recap assistant said.      

The statement was snubbed by KPU Commissioner who explained that the zero vote accusation is clearly untrue. “My name is Sri Wahyuni, Samarinda KPU Comissioner. I want to deliver that the statement of zero vote is false. We have compared all of the form, C1, D1, and KPU’s Plano and nothing there implied the zero vote. It is all clear that the votes generat as many as 86,” Sri Wahyuni emphasized. (Panji Erawan/mh)
