Nasdem and PKS Prove Errors on Votes Recap

Constitutional Court (MK) held another PHPU trial for South Sulawesi as being deliberated by National Democratic Party (Nasdem), National Awakening Party (PKB), and Justice Prosperous Party (PKS), in Panel II session room (10/6). The Justice Arief Hidayat-led trial proceeds with the agenda of testimonial hearing.

In the Nasdem witness’ testimony, Mohammad stated there was illegal addition for Hanura’s votes and it has been reported to Bawaslu. But the recommendation was ignored by KPU. “Hanura’s votes were elevated. On our data, Hanura only gained 120 votes, but KPU version showed 170 votes. I reported to Bawaslu and got the recommendation, nut KPU ignored it,” Mohammad explained.

Similar occurrence alleged by PKS’ witness. Hasanuddin, the witness of region level also nodded that there were some difference with the received result with the KPU version. The difference also harmed PKS’ votes, so the witness refused to sign on the recap result.

“So many errors in the result, Golkar’s vote moved from 144.935 to 145.639 votes, while PKS’ votes degraded from 29.188 votes to 29.075 votes,” Imam Rohani, witness of South Sulawesi

Validating Evidences

Aside from the testimonial hearing, Justice Arif Hidayat also validated the Applicant’s evidences. He also retained for Nasdem, PKB, and PKS to compile their conclusion by Wednesday (11/6) to the Clerks. (Panji Erawan/mh)
