Parties Summoned Witnesses over Sulbar PHPU

PHPU trial in West Sulawesi is proceeding, as parties presented some witnesses for clash of legislative candidates of West Sulawesi.

Hasrun Malik, Golkar’s witness complains the uneven ballots usage with the valid ballots. The margin booked 41.000 of gapped votes. “We were suspicious about the illegally-added votes that harmed Golkar’s votes,” Hasrun said.

Meanwhile, Gerindra’s witness, Syamsul Rizal, citizen of Mamuju who is also Gerindra’s legislative candidate, complains different recap result in Mamuju. Based on the data, it booked 2.356 votes, but it was decreased to 2.483 votes, generated 127 votes of margin. He has reported it to Panwaslu and a recommendation has been granted.

In accordance to it, objection was also delivered by Hisham, Golkar’s legislative candidate from West Sulawesi. He was disadvantaged by fictional votes which made into final result. “People there aren’t so aware of the election, but the validated votes were incredibly settled in number. We are suspicious there was particular candidate whose votes were illegally boosted” Hashim whined.   

Moreover, West Sulawesi KPU summoned committees in some unfair-accused TPS. In his testimony, member of PPS Peu, Paulus and Petrus said there was no complaint from witnesses, as the result had been signed. Hence, he questioned the pleading.(Julie/mh)
