Kalsel DPD Election Held in Open Space

Witnesses are processing to be inspected by Constitutional Court Justices in PHPU legislative trial, on Friday (6/6). The DPD legislative candidates presented some witnesses, this time the trial deliberates DPD cases four South Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, and North Maluku. It was led by Justice Ahmad Fadlil Sumadli, accompanied by Justice Maria Farida Indrati and Aswanto. 

Witness from South Kalimantan, Ardani stated that during the election in Joklang, he didn’t vote in a chamber, but in wide open space. “It occurred in a house, not in a chamber,” Ardani said. He also added some photographers took pictures of the voting procession.

Another witness, Awul, he cited that he did the elections as many as 7 times, he did it as he represented his children and wife who didn’t want to use their rights to vote. He stated that he choose Antung Farmawati and another forgettable candidate.

The trial was also attended by West Nusa Tenggara DPD’s witness, Yud GRH as PPK in Gunung Sari, Lombok Barat region. He explained that a candidate, named Tuan Guru Muharam Mahfud received 4026 votes. “This was generated by plenum in Gunung Sari, no objection or complaint during the meeting.” Yud explained to Justice Ahmad Fadlil Sumadi.

Went Well and Safe

Wahyudin, witness from Narmada, West Lombok explained the election in Namada all went well and smooth from the PPS level. Wahyudin acted as Chief of PPK in Narmada.

“No objection from the witnesses. We will inform that attending 5 witnesses for DPD and 12 for parties all have received the official result,” Wahyudin said. He also added Tuan Guru Muharam Mahfud gained 4.116 votes in Narmada. No objection from the witnesses.

Meanwhile, witness for North Maluku DPD, Rahanip Tamip who was also witness for candidate Abdurrahman Kahatatu, cited ballooning votes for two PDIP’s candidates named, Hanip Tumahu and Sugiarti in three regions.(Nano Tresna Arfana/mh
